Arrangements
Nowhere in the world you will
find as many windmills as near Kinderdijk.
Around 1740 no less than 19 sturdy mills were built here. They have
been well preserved to the present day.
It is possible to visit Kinderdijk and the neighbourhood by Janplezier.
There are trips available of 1 hour, but we can also comfort you the
whole day.
We composed various arrangements such as:
- visit the Wisboom pump house (built in 1868)
- go for a walk over a private miller's road (with a personal guide)
- visit a mill

Ride with a Janplezier
through
Alblasserdam and Kinderdijk, and visit the mills area where you can
walk and look around.
Duration ca. 1,5 hour

Ride with the Janplezier
to the mills
of Kinderdijk and visit the Wisboom pump house (built in 1868)
where you get a cup a coffee/tea with speculaas while watching a nice
presentation about Kinderdijk.

Ride with a Janplezier
and a extended guided tour in Kinderdijk. Coffee/tea with speculaas
included.
Ride with a Janplezier (ca. 1 hour).
Introduction in the Wisboom pumping house surrounded by old pumps and
take a look at an exhibition about Kinderdijk.
Guided tour alongside an old landlord's house (since 1581), floodwall,
dikestorage, the newest pumps and jack-screws. After that you walk via
a private miller's road. Entrance and visit of a mill.
Return via the public Middelkade.
